Vashti Harrison 2017
Charlotte picked this one up at her elementary school's annual book fair. We enjoyed reading the biographical vignettes, especially the ones that we hadn't known about before. It starts off with the poet Phillis Wheatley.
We were excited to learn that our city of Philadelphia is planning on putting a Marian Anderson statue in front of the Academy of Music!
