Do Unto Otters

Lately this has been Charlotte's favorite book to read, and it's a fun and silly one.  A book about manners with a play on words, a little rabbit learns that his new neighbors are otters.  He's not so sure about that.  Will they be nice to him, will they play fair, how will they treat him?  A wise owl tells him the "golden rule":  Do unto otters as you would have otters do unto you.

Mind Your Manners

With Thanksgiving dinner coming soon I thought we could use a lesson in table manners.  The kids and I get such a kick out of this book.  It's taken directly from a 19th century etiquette book for children.  The pictures are hilarious and there's a twist on who is the worst behaved at dinner.
